The Fulton County Fair honored two long-time fair volunteers at their annual luncheon for Volunteers and Judges last week. Beverly Reeves and Diana Wilson retired and moved to Fulton County in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. They immediately volunteered to work in the Creative Arts department at the Fulton County Fair, Beverly Reeves was an avid knitter and worked in the household arts department and Diana Wilson did a lot of food preservation so she volunteered in the home canning (food preservation) department. They soon became superintendents in those department and volunteered until the past year.

A certificate and a potted plant was presented to them by Fair Ambassadors Laney Young and Jailee Tyson. Fair Manager Carolyn Lewis said “these  ladies have donated hundreds of hours to the fair and they will always be a part of the Fulton County Fair even if they are not up there working every day.”  Congratulations ladies on a job well done.
