Ozarka College Licensed Practical Nursing students took time recently to celebrate the end of their program and all their hard work along the way.

“I’m very proud of all of their hard work through a trying year as we overcame obstacles together.” said Jamie Yates, Ash Flat LPN Instructor. “They have a bright future in nursing, and I look forward to watching them grow in their careers.”

Awards were presented for Nursing Process grades as well as Nursing Clinical Experience before students played games and provided advice for incoming students to the program. Recipients awarded in nursing process grades include Leslie Langford (First), and Mamie Weatherspoon-Brewer (Second). Recipients awarded in clinical experience include Grace Dunn (First), and Leslie Langford (Second). Following the awards presentation and completion of students’ state board predictor exam, Ozarka Perkins program director, Kendra Smith and career advisor, Tiffney Miller organized games and activities in celebration of the students’ accomplishments.
