On Saturday March 9th, eleven gymnasts from TNT Gymnasticslocated in Hardy, Arkansas, participated in the Arkansas State All-Star meet for Xcel Bronze and Silver teams in Bryant AR.  This was the final meet of the year in Arkansas for these gymnasts and their season culminated with several personal best scores and individual championships.

The Arkansas All-Star meet is the state championship for gymnasts at the Xcel Bronze and Silver levels.  16 teams at each level with 209 total gymnasts from all over the state came together to compete.  Many of TNT’s gymnasts set personal records including a Silver team club record of 113.475 placing 9th.  On the Bronze team Olivia Bunting of Highland had a personal best on Vault with a 9.175 and was 2nd place in for Barswith a 9.425, Lily Holms of Mammoth Spring set a personal best on Bars with a 9.25 and was 5th all-around, and Ani Rains of Cherokee Village finished 6th on the Bars with a 9.3.  The Bronze team finished 11th out of the 16 teams.

On the Silver team, Maelyn Reiter of Cherokee Village set a personal record on Beam with a 9.55 and Vault with a 9.425earning her a Vault State Championship. Jordyn Cain of Hardy finished a strong year on Vault where she placed 1st scoring 9.55 to become the State Vault Champion.  Karlee Pitts of Ash Flat had a personal best on Beam with a 9.5. She was 2nd All Around with a score of 37.525 and was the Floor Champion with the 9thbest Floor Score of the meet, 9.6.  Hadlee Fritts of Melbourne had a personal best on Bars with a 9.55 and earned 2nd place onVault with a 9.35.  Tessa Hogue of Cherokee Village had a personal best in her All-Around with a 37.425 earning her 3rdplace and was 2nd on Floor with a 9.375.  Bailee Hill of Hardy had a personal best on Bars with a 9.425. Isabella Bartow of Cherokee Village placed 4th on floor with a 9.15.  Paris Conforthof Cherokee Village, competing in the HUGS division, was the Vault Champion with a 9.1 and 2nd All-Around.

The TNT Gymnastics Academy teams had a very successful year setting several club, individual, and team records including the Xcel Bronze and Silver overall team scores.  The state championships also represented 3 school districts in the area:Highland, Mammoth Spring, and Salem.   The team now turns its focus in two directions.  Memorial Weekend, 6 of the gymnasts will be competing in a National Meet in Destin, Florida completing the 2023-24 season.   And through the month of April, they will be welcoming 8-10 new team members as the 2024-25 season starts.

Gymnastics is a year-round passion for TNT Gymnastics with classes ranging from the 1–2-year-old discovery class, 3-4 year old class, Ninja Warrior, level 1 and 2 Gymnastics, Cheer Tumbling and Junior team classes all taking place throughout the week as well as the teams practicing 6-9 hours a week. They are also busy with special events and Birthday parties on the weekends.
