Christopher Lindley, the man who was caught on video seen killing one man and severely injuring multiple others after shooting them at the Snappy Mart gas station in Koshkonong in Missouri has been held in the Dent County Jail since the shooting which occurred in April of 2021.

After kicking the can down the road, trial was slated for Sept. 6, but just one day prior, Lindley’s attorney, Nathan Nico Vize, filed a proposed order now claiming Lindley lacks the mental capacity to stand trial for the murder of Carlos Moreno, a truck driver from California, who was at the gas station at the time and injuries to others.

In addition to the murder of Moreno, three additional victims, Melissa Rae Blaskiewicz, Jonah Bivins, and Paul Chavis all suffered gunshot wounds placing them in critical condition at the time.

Melissa Rae Blaskiewicz, Jonah Bivins, and Paul Chavis each suffered severe injuries, some sustaining life altering injuries as a result.

Lindley faces charges of one count murder in the first degree, six counts armed criminal action and five counts of assault in the first degree or attempt resulting in serious physical injury.

A court date has not yet been set.
