The Highland School District’s Beta Club has received the National Beta District of Distinction award for the 23/24 year.
“This award is given to those deserving districts who offer National Beta in all schools in their district, and who induct qualifying students in all eligible grades fourth though 12th,” the district announced on their social media page.
Highland is one of only 64 qualifying districts to receive the award nationwide.
“We are very proud to receive this distinction. It speaks highly of our commitment to excellence, leadership, development and service involvement and illustrates our dedication to preparing students for college and career readiness. Our district understands the importance of these qualities and exemplifies the Beta motto, ‘Let Us Lead by Serving Others’.”
The National Beta Club was established in 1934.
