(Batesville, Ark) – Many women spend countless hours caring for others while balancing family, work and a host of other responsibilities. On Tuesday, October 6, White River Health (WRH) and First Community Bank invite women to take a break from their busy routines and make time for themselves at HealthFirst, a Women’s Health Event.

Held from 4–7 p.m. at the University of Arkansas Community College at Batesville (UACCB), this year’s event is designed to give women an evening focused on their health and well-being. It is an opportunity to connect with other women, learn more about their health and leave feeling encouraged and inspired to make their health a priority.

The evening will feature online fitness and lifestyle coach Lexi Johnson, founder of Lexi J Wellness. From 6–7 p.m., Johnson will share her message about making meaningful investments in your health and building habits that support long-term well-being.

Through Lexi J Wellness, Johnson helps busy women make sustainable changes to their health through accessible workouts, nutrition coaching and practical lifestyle strategies. Her 28-minute workouts and approachable philosophy on wellness have helped her build a community spanning all 50 states and eight countries.

Before Johnson takes the stage, attendees can take advantage of free women’s health screenings and educational opportunities from 4–5:45 p.m. Health topics will include heart health, women’s health basics, menopause education, pelvic floor education, healthy weight and metabolism, mental wellness, mom and baby health, skin health, joint health and more. Flu shots will also be available.

And because taking care of yourself should be enjoyable, HealthFirst will offer a complimentary Brow Bar provided by students from the UACCB Cosmetology Salon. Participants can enjoy this fun beauty service at no cost.

HealthFirst is more than an evening of screenings and education. It is an opportunity for women to pause, connect with others and be reminded that their health deserves attention, too. Women of all ages are encouraged to attend, whether they come for a screening, want to learn something new, hope to spend time with friends or simply need an evening to focus on themselves.

This event is free and open to women of all ages. Guests are encouraged to arrive early to take advantage of the screenings and educational opportunities before the presentation.

HealthFirst will be held Tuesday, October 6, from 4–7 p.m. at UACCB in Batesville. Free women’s health screenings and education will be available from 4–5:45 p.m., followed by Johnson’s presentation from 6–7 p.m.
