A Hardy community blood drive will take place Nov. 9 from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. at the Hardy Civic Center. At least one north central Arkansas hospital reports that blood supplies are at their lowliest since 2015.

Blood transfusions are an everyday part of saving lives. The blood collected by the Red Cross is what hospitals use to save lives in emergencies where blood transfusions are needed.
