MOUNTAIN VIEW, Arkansas (June 2026) — Ozarka College recently hosted a successful Detective Academy at its Mountain View campus as part of the 2026 Ozarka Kids College summer enrichment program, welcoming around 50 students in grades K–6 for a day of mystery, discovery, and hands-on learning.
Throughout the camp, participants became junior detectives as they worked to solve the “Great Ozarka Mystery” through a variety of engaging activities. Campers explored fingerprint analysis, mystery science experiments, code-breaking challenges, crime scene investigations, and a special library adventure before putting their skills together for the final mystery reveal.
The Detective Academy encouraged critical thinking, teamwork, observation, and problem-solving while creating an exciting and interactive learning environment. Students eagerly followed clues, examined evidence, and collaborated with fellow campers to uncover the solution to the mystery.
The Mountain View campus welcomed a group of enthusiastic young detectives who embraced every challenge and demonstrated outstanding curiosity and creativity throughout the event.
“Watching Kids College at our Mountain View campus grow has been nothing short of incredible,” said Jill Sandlin of Ozarka College’s Education Department. “What started as a small program has blossomed into an unforgettable experience filled with laughter, learning, friendships, and memories that will last a lifetime. We are so thankful for every child, family, volunteer, and staff member who made this week so special. We can’t wait to see what next year brings!”
Ozarka College extends its appreciation to the staff, volunteers, families, and community supporters whose efforts helped make the Detective Academy a memorable experience for all involved.
