Three Arkansas State Police sergeants were promoted today to the rank of lieutenant.  The recommendations to promote the sergeants were presented to the Arkansas State Police Commission by Colonel Bill Bryant, state police director, during a regular monthly meeting of the commissioners.   

Sergeant Tiffany Dycus, 49, of Faulkner County, currently assigned to the Office of Professional Standards, was promoted to lieutenant and will assume new duties assigned to the Arkansas State Police Building and Regulatory Services Division.  Lieutenant Dycus is a 17-year state police veteran.   

Sergeant Philip Hydron, 49, of Crittenden County, currently assigned as a Highway Patrol Division post supervisor in Troop D, was promoted to lieutenant and will assume new duties as assistant commander of Troop D, headquartered at Forrest City.  Lieutenant Hydron is a 17-year state police veteran.   

Sergeant Brandon Margis, 34, of Sebastian County, currently assigned as a Highway Patrol Division post supervisor in Troop H, was promoted to lieutenant and will assume new duties as assistant commander of Troop L, headquartered at Lowell.  Lieutenant Margis is a 10-year state police veteran.
