A Cave City man was taken into custody Jan. 26 following the execution of a search warrant which yielded a large sum of drugs and money.
According to a release from the Sharp County Sheriff’s Department the Sharp County Police Department in conjunction with the Sharp County Sheriff’s Department executed the search warrant at the residence of Dennis Tucker, 47, on Brickle Springs Road just west of Cave City.
During a search of the residence, officers discovered several ounces of suspected methamphetamine, drug paraphernalia and a large sum of cash exceeding $7,000.Tucker was transported to the Sharp County Detention Center waiting the filing of formal charges of one count possession with intent to deliver, a class A felony and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class B felony.
The arrest stems from an ongoing investigation by the Sharp County Sheriff’s Department.
More arrests may be made in conjunction with this case.
