The American Red Cross is desperate for blood donations and anyone who is eligible is asked to please donate.
Upcoming blood drives are:
Aug. 9 at the A. L. Hutson Memorial Center 1 p.m. to 5 p.m.
Aug. 24 at the Cherokee Village United Methodist Church located at 21 Otter Drive in Cherokee Village from 12:30 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Sept. 8 at the Mammoth Spring High School located at 400 Goldsmith Road in Mammoth Springfrom 1 p.m. until 5:30 p.m.
Sept. 14 at the Hardy Civic Center located at 301 East Main Street in Hardy from 1 p.m. until 5 p.m.and also at the Highland High School from 9:30 a.m. until 2:30 p.m.
