Shaw Veterinary Clinic is sponsoring a Sharp County 4-H rabies clinic on Saturday, May 7, 2022, between 8:50 a.m. and 2 p.m. at multiple locations. It is very important for all cats and dogs to be vaccinated against rabies, and it is required by Arkansas law. Please keep in mind that times may be affected by volume of clients at earlier stops. Currently, the schedule is as follows:
- Highland High School at 8:50 a.m.
- Hardy Library at 9:40 a.m.
- Wirth New Hope Baptist Church at 10:20 a.m.
- Williford Library at 11 a.m.
- Poughkeepsie Cornerstone Baptist Camp at 11:35 a.m.
- Cave City Middle School parking lot at 12:30 p.m.
- Evening Shade Feed Mill at 1:15 p.m.
All dogs and cats need to be at least 3 months of age. Dogs will need to be on leashes. Cats will need to be left in the safety of vehicles.
The cost will be $15.00 for a rabies vaccination. Parvo and Distemper vaccinations are available and will be an additional $15.00 per pet, if needed.
Doctors Roger and Donna Shaw will be donating proceeds from the clinic to the Sharp County 4-H Program for its activities.
