Ozarka College is proud to announce that Suellen Davidson of Calico Rock, Arkansas was selected as Ozarka’s Employee of the Quarter. In addition to being honored as Employee of the Quarter, Ozarka College celebrated Davidson’s 17 years of service during her recent retirement reception.

Beginning work at Ozarka in 2006, Davidson served as the development officer for the advancement department. Later promoted to director of advancement, Suellen worked tirelessly to build relationships for community support and to advocate for Ozarka students through fundraising efforts all these years.

“Suellen is most deserving of this prestigious recognition; she has always focused on Ozarka College’s success, and I am proud to call her a colleague,” said Dr. Richard Dawe, Ozarka College president. “We wish her the very best in her retirement; she will be dearly missed.”

Suellen announced her retirement from Ozarka earlier this year at the 2023 Spring Gala, Ozarka’s annual signature fundraising event. She would later be recognized as Employee of the Quarter at her retirement reception in May.

“Suellen is going to be truly missed. Not only did she do an exceptional job furthering Ozarka College’s mission, she is also one of the most kind and generous people you will encounter; she has left a lasting impact on Ozarka,” said Dr. Josh Wilson, vice president of advancement. We wish only the best for Suellen in her next chapter.”

“From all of your Ozarka Family, we wish you well, Suellen!”
