Sheila Titus, Ozarka College TRIO administrative specialist, retired recently after twenty-three years of service. Sheila was honored at a retirement celebration on Thursday, June 29, 2023. Colleagues were in attendance and shared stories, voiced their sincere appreciation, and wished her many happy years of retirement.

Beginning work at Ozarka in 2000, Titus began serving in the TRIO department where she has worked tirelessly these many years to help Ozarka students and her colleagues. Sheila announced her upcoming retirement from Ozarka earlier this year and the Ozarka TRIO department gathered to celebrate her 23 years of dedicated service to the College.

“Sheila’s tremendous knowledge of the TRIO program ensured students in the program could transfer with ease and that the TRIO staff members were supported in their roles,” said Zeda Wilkerson, vice president of student services. “She was always willing to take on additional duties and responsibilities. She will be missed.”

From all of your Ozarka Family, we wish you well, Sheila!
