Northern Cardinals are very well know yard birds that hold a special place in a lot of peoples lives. The time old saying “when a cardinal appears, an angel is near” will forever stick with me.
They are set one of the many bird species that will mate for life once paired. The female will build the nest with little help from the male. Dense brush and shrubs are a perfect setting for their nests.
In my experience, a big portion of my clients have a love for cardinals. I sell more prints of them than any other bird with the exception of owls.
I’m currently working on in ln-flight captures. It is breathtaking to watch them take flight and I’m hoping to soon capture their unmistakable beauty.
