Vern Schuldheisz, 55, of Williford is facing multiple felony charges stemming from an incident which occurred March 1.

According to a report from the Hardy Police Department, Officer Scott Rose and Officer Dan Gallagher conducted a parole search. During a search, officers searched a camper belonging to Schuldheisz’s mother in which he was living.

Inside the camper, officers located a brown box inside Schuldheisz’s containing 37.5 grams of a white crystal-like substance with four primary substances individually bagged believed to be methamphetamine.

A large quantity of needles believed to be previously used to ingest methamphetamines, as well as, two glass smoking devices.

Schuldheisz told officers the items belonged to him after which the items were seized and logged into the Hardy Police Department’s evidence room.

Parole Officer James Irvin was notified and requested a hold be placed for parole violation against Schuldheisz.

Schuldheisz was taken into custody and transported to the Sharp County Jail.

He was then charged with felony possession of methamphetamine or cocaine with purpose to deliver; felony possession of drug paraphernalia, felony violation of probation and possession of instrument of crime.
