Timothy Todd Thomas, 50, has been charged by Fulton County Authorities with registered offender on school campus, a class D felony.

According to the affidavit, on Jan. 6, authorities were contacted by a faculty member of the High School stating a student had come to her office and spoken with her about Thomas making her feel uncomfortable.

Authorities then contacted the student who stated a friend of her parents, “Todd” had brought her to school that morning and made several inappropriate statements during the trip.

The victim stated one comment included Thomas stating he planned to purchase the victim a phone to hide from her parents so he could communicate with the victim without her parents’ knowledge.

Upon searching the Izard County Arkansas Sheriff’s Office Website for registered sex offenders, Thomas was found to be a level three sex offender.

The victim described Thomas and his vehicle and authorities pulled surveillance footage to confirm.

Thomas criminal history revealed a conviction for three prior felonies making Thomas a habitual offender.

Bond for Thomas was set at $10,000.
