The clock is winding down on the White River Heath Systems annual Life Lights fundraising campaign slated to end Dec. 31. The Life Lights is an annual holiday fundraising campaign to benefit patient care at White River Health System facilities. Donors can make a gift in honor or memory of someone special—a family member, friend, coworker, neighbor, soldier, doctor, nurse, or an angel in disguise. Life Lights are a unique and thoughtful holiday gift, bringing the light of remembrance and recognition during this holiday season. Those honored or remembered will be acknowledged with a mailed card. In addition, the names of all who are recognized will be printed in the Batesville Daily Guard and Three Rivers Edition, displayed in the WRMC lobby, and posted on the WRHS Facebook page, SCMC Facebook page, WRHS Foundation Facebook page, and website. 2020 Life Lights gifts support 3D Mammography at White River Health System. Research has shown that 3D mammography increases rates of early breast cancer detection and gives fewer false positive results. Nearly 1 in 8 American women develop breast cancer in their lifetime. Accurate imaging and early detection of breast cancer are critical. Life Lights gifts will help to bring this imaging option to our patients and the communities we serve. You can make a Life Lights gift online or by contacting the White River Health System Foundation office at 870-262-1834.
