On October 24th, 2024 Law Enforcement Officers from numerous agencies came together to perform a planned Law Enforcement Saturation in Sharp county that was planned and organized by the Sharp County Sheriff’s Office. The purpose of the operation was to target individuals that had active warrants for their arrest, to do compliance checks on individuals on probation and parole, compliance checks on registered sex offenders, traffic enforcement and also to perform Community-Oriented Policing.
The saturation began early Thursday morning and continued until near midnight. With 48 officers working in Sharp County, the saturation was a complete success. Here is the number of contacts made.
