The following individuals were arrested last week, according to Chief Deputy Charley Melton:
Quentin Cohoon, 50, of Violet Hill was arrested January 7 and charged with rape, which is a class Y felony. He is also charged with 15 counts of employing/authorizing a child less than 17 years old to perform in a sexual performance, a class C felony, one count of sexual indecency with a child, a class D felony and 9 counts of contributing to the delinquency of a minor, a Class A misdemeanor. Bond was set at $100,000.
Jonathan Cagle, 35, of Calico Rock was arrested January 8 for careless and prohibited driving, vehicles to be driven on the right side of the road, Violation of Omnibus DWI Act, no seat belt, and no proof of insurance. Bond was set at $3,145.
Hayden Cooper, 27, of Melbourne was arrested January 9 for vehicles to be driven on right side of road, Violation of Omnibus DWI Act and refusal to submit to chemical test. Bond was set at $990.
Jessica Ellis, 33, of Horseshoe Bend was arrested January 9 for possession of a controlled substance, a class A misdemeanor. Bond was set at $1,270
