According to Chief Deputy Charley Melton on December 27 Trooper Lively made a traffic stop on a vehicle in Pineville for improper window tint. There were three occupants in the vehicle, Jesse Bowman, age 31 of Norfork, Jolynn Mandel, age 36 of Norfork, and Brandon Stanley, age 47 of Pineville. During the stop Livley reported smelling marijuana. Bowman, the driver of the vehicle, was asked to step out of the vehicle. During a search of Bowman’s person, Livley located a container with THC wax inside. Lively ran Mandel’s information and learned she had a warrant out of another jurisdiction. Stanley is on active parole and had a search waiver on file. During a search of the vehicle numerous baggies, scales, a white crystalline substance that field tested positive for methamphetamine, a bag containing marijuana, a bag containing a brown substance, along with a syringe and a smoking device. As a result, all three were charged with: Possession of a controlled substance to wit methamphetamine with the purpose to deliver, a class A felony Possession of a controlled substance with the purpose to deliver, a schedule I or II controlled substance not Methamphetamine / Cocaine, a class C felony Possession of a controlled substance to wit marijuana, a class A misdemeanor Possession of drug paraphernalia with the purpose to analyze methamphetamine, a class B felony Possession of drug paraphernalia with the purpose to store methamphetamine, a class D felony. Two counts of possession of drug paraphernalia with the purpose to ingest methamphetamine A bond of $30,000 professional was set for all three with a court date of January 20 in the Izard County Circuit Court. All three were also charged with being a habitual offender. 

On December 29 Ronald Murphee, age 37 of Mountain View, was arrested by Deputy J Barnes for driving on a suspended driver’s license and no proof of insurance. Murphee is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on February 2.

On December 31 Daniel Payne, age 64 of Melbourne, was arrested by Deputy Sean Tomlinson for public intoxication. Payne is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on February 4.
 
On January 1 Clint Moore, age 60 of Horseshoe Bend, was arrested by Deputy J Barnes for possession of drug paraphernalia. Moore is scheduled to appear in the Izard County District Court on February 2.
