Meet David Martin, the newest member of the Hallmark Times team. We’re excited to have his amazing photographic talent to share with you here. He’s not your typical wildlife photographer. This is a passion for him, and we’re so happy to be able to share his love of preserving wildlife images with you. We believe he’s got something special…a keen eye but more than that. When we asked him to write a bio for us, this is what he shared:

Hi, David Martin here and although I am an avid outdoorsman. Spending time behind a camera photographing the game that I pursue is something I find immense joy in.
May 14, 2020 is when I picked up a camera and started photographing wildlife. Since that date, I’ve upgraded my equipment three different times in an effort to provide higher-quality, better-looking images for the world to see.
Photography is not my profession, although I wish it could be someday. Currently I work as a Merchant Mariner, transiting dry/liquid cargos up and down the navigable river ways. The main tributaries traveled are the Mississippi, Illinois and Ohio river systems. I’ve worked in this particular industry for the past 13 years.
I am the father of 2 wonderful boys and husband to an amazing wife. They are very understanding of the lifestyle that I lead with this new found love for photography.
