A woman has racked up charges in Fulton County after authorities responded to a call at Saddler Falls Resort.

The caller stated a woman, later identified as 34-year-old Destiny Ward was intoxicated and allegedly trying to fight people at the resort.

When deputies arrived, they spoke to Ward who appeared to be intoxicated. While trying to have a friend come and pick her up, Ward became irate with management and began yelling and cussing management and the deputy on scene.

Ward was taken into custody for disorderly conduct and public intoxication.

After being placed in the patrol car, Ward slipped her cuffs and then slid the sliding glass door of the patrol car open, slid through the opening, kicking the patrol rifle off the mount.

In the process of kicking the rifle off the mount, the firearm fell on the switch to activate the vehicle’s sirens alerting the deputy there was an issue.

After unlocking the vehicle, Ward was ordered to exit but instead reached for the gearshift.

Ward was physically removed from the driver’s seat of the vehicle when she then began to resist. She was again placed in hand restraints and transported to jail.

As a result, Ward has been charged with public intoxication, disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, escape in the third degree, escape from custody and theft of property.
