The Izard County Junior Lady Cougars defeated the previously undefeated Concord Junior Lady Pirates, 41-38, in overtime, to win the 1A-2 District Tournament at Viola. The Junior Lady Cougars (22-2) were led by Makensie Yancey with 16 points and Quinn Johnson with 14. Breyona Fortney also chipped in 8. The Junior Lady Pirates drop to 24-1 on the season.
