On January 8, 2024, Deputies responded to a 911 cal at the 10 block of Seminole Dr.
When they arrived, 26 year old Derek Hamilton was found inside of a residence, and his
death was pronounced by the Coroner. Derek suffered what appeared to be multiple stab wounds during a domestic altercation. His body has been submitted to the State Medical
Examiner’s office. Two suspects were taken into custody that night and submitted to questioning by Investigators. Both were released after questioning. Currently the case si open and still being investigated.
