The 72nd Fulton County Homecoming Festival Parade committee is thrilled to announce that Cash prizes will be awarded to the best parade float participants! $300 1st place, $200 2nd place and $100 3rd place awards will be given out on parade day. Grand prizes will go to the Float with the best display of the 2021 festival theme “We Grow in different directions, but our roots bring us back home”. 1st place Cash award was donated by the Bank of Salem, 2nd and 3rd place awards have been donated by Area Wide Media, Moody Realty and Fulton County Title. Floats will be judged by an independent committee.
The parade is aptly named “Monty McCullough Memorial Parade” in memory of Monty McCullough, a long-time festival chairman. Parade is scheduled to take place on Saturday, May 29th @ 1:00 pm. Businesses, school groups, independent clubs, antique cars or anyone just looking to celebrate in the 2021 Festival is welcome to enter the parade contest.
