Executive Director of the Northeast Arkansas Intermodal Authority and Assistant Vice President of Community Development for Farmers & Merchants Bank, Graycen Bigger, will address Ozarka College graduates during the 2022 Commencement Ceremony. Ozarka Commencement will take place on Thursday, May 12 at 6:30 p.m. in the auditorium of the John E. Miller Education Complex in Melbourne, Arkansas.“We are very fortunate to have Graycen deliver our commencement address this year,” said Dr. Richard Dawe, Ozarka College president. “Graycen and Northeast Arkansas Intermodal Authority have been very supportive of recent advancements in Ozarka’s technical program offerings and instrumental in connecting the College with new industry partners. It is a great honor to have such a respected member of our community to address our graduates.”
In 2021, Bigger was appointed by Governor Asa Hutchinson to the Arkansas Division of Higher Education Coordinating Board. Other community commitments include the Arkansas Good Roads Foundation Board of Directors, Arkansas Economic Developer and Chamber Executives, North Delta Community Foundation, Spring River Innovation Hub, and the Black River Technical College Foundation.
The administration, faculty, and staff are proud of the hard work demonstrated by these graduates. As commencement quickly approaches, Ozarka graduates will need to complete the intent to graduate form in their MyOzarka portal to notify staff of their intent to participate in the commencement ceremony. Once notified, Ozarka staff will schedule a time for graduates to pick up their caps and gowns.
