The Fulton County Sheriff’s Department along with the 16th Judicial Drug Task Force, Salem Police Department and Arkansas Community Correction Probation/ Parole agent Steve Simers report multiple drug related arrests.
The first in the most recent series occurred Feb. 28 when a probation and parole search was conducted at the residence of 36-year-old Matthew Arnold. Inside the residence, authorities located a box containing needles and a spoon with a usable amount of crystalline substance on it. Other paraphernalia was also located in the residence.
As a result, Arnold has been charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, a class D felony and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class D felony.
On March 1, a home visit was conducted at the residence of 45-year-old Glenn Chance, during which authorities found drug paraphernalia and a white crystalline substance which field tested positive to be methamphetamine.
As a result, Chance has been charged with possession of a schedule II controlled substance, a class D felony and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class D felony.
While performing a search of the Chance residence, authorities spoke to 62-year-old Vicki Edminston who admitted some of the items of paraphernalia and methamphetamine belonged to her.
As a result, Edminston has been charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony; possession of drug paraphernalia, a class D felony; controlled substance- offenses relating to records, maintaining a premises, a class C felony and as a habitual offender having previously been convicted of four or more felonies.
