“Fair books won’t go to the printers and be available until the first week of June,” according to Chelsea Conway of the Sharp County Extension office. Other details are firming up.
There will be pageants, food vendors, a truck and tractor pull, and a PRCA Rodeo among other activities during the July 5-July 10 time span. The 4-H poultry auction which raises the money to pay for Chick Chain chicks for the 4-H-ers’ poultry projects will take pace on Saturday at 6 p.m. There will be a cookie jar sale for the Sharp County Fair Scholarship fund. Lots of other things are in the works.
