A Salem man, 30-year-old James Flow has been charged with one count of second degree sexual assault, a class B felony.

According to an affidavit filed in the Fulton County Circuit Court Nov. 29, the charges stem from a series of incidents occurring in late November when it was reported by a juvenile under the age of 14 that a game of “Simon Says” had turned perverse.

During a round of the game, Flow placed a black beanie over the eyes of the victim and said to “put your hands in the air and open your mouth,” the affidavit said.

The victim later told a parent it was believed to be Flow’s private parts that touched the victim. The victim also stated there was limited visibility but was able to see Flow’s privates sticking out from his pants.

When the victim asked Flow why his pants were open, he told the victim, “his pants do that sometimes”.

At a later time, while the victim was attempting to play a video game, Flow again began to touch the juvenile in an inappropriate manner including placing his hand between the thighs of the victim and applying pressure.

The victim told authorities Flow had waited until all others had left the residence before he began to do these “weird things”.

On Nov. 23, investigators wit hthe Fulton County Sheriff’s Department spoke with the mother of the victim who stated she had received text messages from Flow’s girlfriend “ His zipper kept coming undone while we are at the store.. I had to tell him twice… I understand what she’s been through…,” the affidavit said.

Bond for Flow was set at $100,000 cash.
