Today is the deadline to register to vote in Arkansas for the November General Election.
According to Fulton County Clerk Vickie Bishop, many people have been coming to the county clerk’s office this past week to register.
“…We want everyone who isn’t registered to come in and get registered. If they’ve had a change of address or if they’ve moved since the last time they voted. If they will come in and get that taken care of that will help them,” Bishop said.
If you are unsure about whether your registration is valid, contact your home county clerk’s office and be sure to notify them of any changes prior to 4:30 this afternoon.
Bishop said for those registered elsewhere in Arkansas who need to transfer their registration should also check with their home county clerk’s office.
“..The sooner the better,” Bishop said.
