The Buck$Barn, the only $1 only clothing store in the area, located in the lower parking lot at the Mission of Hope in Hardy will have its grand opening June 8, from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. located 3968 U.S. Hwy 62/412.

The public is invited to check out the clothing offerings and have a free hot dog and water. “Since our inception, we have always tried to find ways to benefit the community, and this is just another way to do that,” co-administrator Holly Melson said. “We want the community, and surrounding communities to come and take advantage of what we’re doing. This is our grand opening. We’re finally ready! Since our soft opening, in April, we have seen hundreds and hundreds of families who have benefited from the Buck$Barn,”

The other facets of the Mission will be open as well.

Proceeds from the Buck$Barn are used to assist with expenses of the Mission of Hope and primarily to purchase food that the Mission uses to help provide for Sharp County residents in need Thursdays during food pantry distribution.

As usual donations are welcome.
