On this day in 2008, Arkansas was part of the historic Super Tuesday tornado outbreak. In Arkansas alone there were 12 tornadoes. One of them, an EF4, tracked 122 miles from Yell to Sharp County, making it the longest tornado track on record in Arkansas since 1950.
