Sharp Couty Search and Rescue group is taking orders through November 11, 2022, for the turkeys they will smoke as a funderaiser for their group.
David Woods would like the community to know, “The Sharp County Search and Rescue will be doing a smoked turkey fundraiser for the Thanksgiving holiday. Here’s how it works. You contact Dave or I and tell us what size turkey you want and we will smoke it for you. You must prepay for the turkey, or you could purchase your own turkey and call us and we will smoke it for $25. If we buy the turkey and smoke it it will cost $1.70 a pound plus $25 for smoking it. Again, if you order the turkey and smoke from us you must prepay or if we just smoke your turkey you still got a prepay.”
“Due to a limited number of turkeys because of the bird flu certain sizes may not be available. However, if you order a 18 lb turkey and it is not available in that size we will contact you and tell you what the next available size is and adjust the price accordingly. The cutoff date for ordering turkeys and smoking your turkeys will be November 11th. We will notify you when your turkey is ready for pickup.
