The Stop the Cycle Daddy Daughter Dance, Denim and Diamonds slated for Oct. 2 is quickly approaching.
The daddy daughter dance will be held at the Salem Senior Citizens Center in Salem and is used as a fundraiser for the Stop the Cycle Spay and Neuter group.
Tickets are $25 each and $5 for each additional guest. It’s ladies’ choice and girls may choose to bring their dad or other special male guest.
There will be door prizes and drawings throughout the night as well as a DJ, cupcakes, refreshments and photo booth.
Stop the Cycle is a 501-c-3 non-profit organization.
According to the organization’s website, “At Stop the Cycle we believe that an important step in reducing the stray cat and dog populations of Fulton and Sharp Counties is by making spaying and neutering affordable,” the website reads. “That’s why we, with the help and support of county residents and businesses, provide vouchers that cover the cost of these procedures at local veterinarian clinics. Together we are making a difference. We hope you’ll join us on this journey.”
Founded in 2019, the organization began raising funds to aid shelters and pet owners who had the desire to have their pet spayed or neutered in order to help cut back on the population of unwanted animals.
