The Friends of the Ash Flat Library had painted and hidden stars at parks in Ash Flat, Hardy, Cherokee Village, and Highland. The Starry Hide and Seek was open to children only. Children have found all of the stars that were hidden. Fourteen are still out there somewhere. When they are turned in to the Ash Flat Library at 11 Arnhart Street in Ash Flat, they can be exchanged for a free children’s book! Do you have one?

The Starry Hide and Seek Summertime fun began June 14th and kids were quick to find the stars where they were hidden!

If your child has found one of the stars, please make sure to snap a pic and share it with us on Facebook to commemorate your hunt, starry find, and/or your new book.

Pictured are a sampling of the stars that are hidden in the parks. Many thanks to Anita Hawkins, President of the Friends of the Ash Flat Library, and Julie Milligan, one of the Friends of the Library, for bringing summertime reading fun.
