A Batesville woman and former Cave City student was killed after being struck by a vehicle in Sharp County.
According to the Arkansas State Police, just before 11 p.m. Dec. 4, 29-year-old Sandi Sahn of Batesville was walking in the northbound lane of traffic when she was struck by the front left corner of a 2001 Dodge Ram that was also traveling along U.S. 167. The name of the driver of the vehicle has not been released.
This marks the 481st vehicle related fatility so far this year.
