Ozarka College will continue to require face masks in all College classrooms, offices, and other indoor facilities through the end of the spring semester. The policy was announced in a statement released to the Ozarka campus community and website on Wednesday.

The College still plans to hold Commencement as well as Capping and Pinning ceremonies in May as scheduled. An announcement on specific guidance for these indoor events (e.g., masks, distancing, and seating capacity) will be forthcoming. “We are pleased to see the recent improvements in local COVID-19 statistics and the fast distribution of vaccines in the region and we are hopeful for even more relaxed guidance in the weeks to come,” said Dr. Richard Dawe, Ozarka president. “We have decided to continue with mask-wearing on our campuses as we complete the semester with expectations to return to more normal operations this summer.”
