The Izard County Cougars lost a close one to the Viola Longhorns, 54-48, in the regional tournament on Friday night.
The Cougars (24-7) will play Ridgefield Christian on Saturday at 1 p.m. in the third place game. Caleb Faulkner and Coby Everett led the Cougars with 18 points each.
