According to Chief Deputy Charley Melton, the following people were booked into the Izard County Jail last week:

John Ward, 53, of Sidney was arrested on June 14 and charged with domestic battery. Bond was set at $1,120.

Jessie Bowman 29, was brought to court for a first arraignment.

Ronald Austin Quinn Murphree, 38, of Calico Rock was arrested June 15 and charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony and possession of drug paraphernalia. Bond was set at $20,000.

Tena Renee Haynes, 51, of Calico Rock was arrested June 15 for contempt of court.

Kevin Darnell Higdon, 58, of Yellville was arrested June 15 and charged with delivery of methamphetamine, a class B felony and is a habitual offender. Bond was set at $20,000.

Angela Marie Dickerson, 43, of Calico Rock was arrested June 16 and charged with delivery of methamphetamine, a class B felony.

Cynthia Skinner, 47, of Batesville was arrested June 17 and charged with possession of a controlled substance, a class D felony and is a habitual offender. Bond was set at $30,000.

Kenneth Wayne Lovell, 56, of Guion was ordered to spend 60 days in jail after being found guilty of two counts of domestic battery. The case was heard before District Judge David Miller.

Amanda Kelley, 41, of Batesville was arrested June 18 on a failure to appear charge.

Crystal Darlene Thomas, 51, of Oxford was arrested June 18 on a bond revocation and is on hold for another agency.

Shawn Dee Branscum, 46, of Batesville was arrested June 18 and charged with two class D felonies for possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia, a class Y felony. Bond was set at $30,000.

Shelbie Marie Holowell, 21, of Horseshoe Bend was arrested June 18 on a Bond Revocation.

Hailee Rachelle Sheffield, 27, of Pangburn was arrested June 18 and is being held for another agency.

Robert Pollard, 21, of Newark was arrested June 19 and charged with failure to appear. He is being held on a parole hold.

Robert Warren Hinkle, 52, of Franklin was arrested June 19 for violation of the Omnibus DWI Act Drugs, driving left of center, refusal to submit to a chemical test, possession of drug paraphernalia and disobeying a stop/yield sign. Bond was set at $2,280.

Kenneth Edward Harmon, 52, of Mount Pleasant was arrested June 19 for no driver’s license, no proof of insurance, fictitious tag, failure to pay registration and possession of a controlled substance. Bond was set at $2,280.

Kimberly Lynn Elkins, 28, of Melbourne was arrested June 19 and is on hold for another agency.
