Special Agents of the Arkansas State Police Criminal Investigation Division have responded to a call from Independence County Sheriff’s Deputies requesting assistance in a murder investigation that local authorities initiated yesterday (Monday, January 25th).
The body of Adam Lowery, 30, was discovered inside a residence at 1320 Rounds Road, east of Batesville. The state medical examiner will determine the manner and cause of death.
Meanwhile state police CID agents have begun documenting the crime scene and assisting local authorities in the search for a suspect.
