On December 14, 2023 at 6:30 p.m., Hardy Fire Department Chief Josh Moore will receive an Associate’s Degree in Applied Science of Fire Science from Black River Technical College in Pocahontas, Arkansas. Through this program and training, Chief Moore has been equipped with the knowledge and skills to effectively lead the Hardy Fire Department in guarding the citizens of Hardy. The City of Hardy, the Hardy City Council, and Mayor Ethan Barnes congratulate you on this achievement and sincerely extend our gratitude for your service to our community. Congratulations on your educational achievement. Chief Moore is the son of Garey Moore and Marcy Conner. Chief Moore has been serving as Fire Chief since July 2023.
