A Fulton County man faces a felony charge after sexually assaulting an underage female.

According to an affidavit for arrest for Jeremy Joseph Stone, 42 filed Aug. 23, the arrest stems from an incident reported in July of this year.

On July 8, the victim reported that Stone had sexual intercourse with her “by force”.

The victim stated Stone had done this on more than one occasion beginning in 2020.

On Aug. 11, Stone was interviewed by Arkansas State Police Crime Against Children Division Investigator Joshua Dixson.

Stone was advised of his rights and after agreeing to speak to the investigator, Stone said the victim would “flirt with him sitting in his lap”.

He also alleged the victim had contacted him requesting for sex.

Stone denied having intercourse with the victim, but stated he engaged in skin to skin contact on more than one occasion.

Stone has been charged with sexual assault in the second degree, a class B felony.

Bond for Stone was set at $5,000 by Circuit Court Judge Larry Kissee.
