On June 19, 2022, at The Fulton County Sheriff’s Department issued the following release:
We are assisting Sharp County Sheriff Office in the apprehension of Joshua Hoover, White Male 6 foot 200 pounds, with shaved head, some facial hair, tattoos on his neck and tattoo sleeves. (Attached photo)
He has wrecked the vehicle he stole on Wolf Hollow Cir. earlier this evening.

Around 11am June 19, 2022, Central Dispatch received a 911 call of a female subject being held Hostage at the Red Mule in Highland. Upon Officers arriving at the Red Mule the Subject fled in Toyota 4 Runner 2019 dark gray in color beginning a pursuit. Officers chased Joshua Hoover where they lost him outside of Hardy due to heavy traffic.
Be on the lookout for Joshua Hoover, White Male 6 foot 200 pounds, with shaved head, some facial hair, tattoos on his neck and tattoo sleeves.
Hoover is possibly armed and dangerous, if you see him Call 911. He is wanted out of Craighead Co and Sharp Co.
