The Federal Bureau of Investigation and Arkansas State Police are seeing information regarding additional potential victims of William Alma Miller, the man sentenced to up to 40 years in prison Oct. 18, 2022 for the 2004 murder of Rebekah Gould in Izard County.

According to the Violent Criminal Apprehension Program (VICAP), since his incarceration in November of 2020, Miller has confessed to killing five other women.

“Miller has confessed to killing five other women in Alabama, Louisiana, Oklahoma, Mississippi and Corpus Christi Texas,” the alert said. “He specified the victims were prostitutes of small stature, weighed approximately 100 pounds or less hand had blond hair.”

William stated he propositioned the women for sex or offered them a ride and once he had killed them through strangulation or bludgeoning, he dumped their bodies in wooded areas off roadways not far from the crime scene.

“Miller worked in the oil filed industry for 25 years and had extensively traveled the united states,” the alert states.

Miller had known destinations of travel in Texas, Arkansas, Alaska, California, Colorado, Georgia, Louisianan, Mississippi, New Mexico, Oregon, Wyoming, Guam and Canada.

The approximate dates of travel or timeline of when the murders occurred are not listed.
