Izard County will be having a one-day electronics recycling event at two locations on August 25, 2021 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. During this event household electronics may be dropped at the County Road Department yard at 160 Timber Lane in Melbourne or in Horseshoe Bend at the recycling center located at 704 West Commerce Street.
Examples of common household electronics include TVs, VCRs, DVD players, computers, computer monitors and all computer accessories, gaming equipment, printers, scanners, fax machines, phones, tablets, cameras, electronic toys, and small kitchen and household electronics. Please DO NOT remove cords.
