On April 1, the Family Dollar Stores of Arkansas, LLC.,
accepted possession of the old Fred’s building to begin remodeling in order to
open a Dollar Tree/Family Dollar combination store. Construction in
Melbourne started on Monday, April 5.
Tentatively, the store is scheduled to officially open on Thursday, June
1. Hallmark Times will feature upcoming news on the opening of the
Dollar Tree as it becomes available.
