For Every Dog Rescue Inc, will host a dog show, April 8 from 8 10 a.m. until 2 p.m. at the Salem Music Barn located at 883, US-62 in Salem.
According to Sarah Milo, entry per category will be $15 and categories include best dressed, unique and tricks or training of dogs.
“For Every Dog Rescue is doing this event in hopes to let the community know that we are here and to engage the community as much as possible in our rescue. This event will give our dog lovers something to look forward to so they can show off their amazing furbabies or even find their next best friend,” Malo said.
Malo said prizes will be awarded for winners in each category, dogs eligible for adoption will be present and there will also be harnesses, dog clothes, dog life vests and more for sale.
Some of the prizes include a $40 Bark Box Gift Card, Kayak Trip for four donated by Southfork Resort and more.
“The funds from this event will go directly to the care of the dogs at our rescue (veterinary, food, toys, etc..) and also to help buy pet food for our monthly pet food pantry. We believe that no pet should go without,” Malo said. “We are in need of volunteer judges to help with the dog shool and we hope to see you there.”
