If you’re looking for some inexpensive fun this evening, the Salem Square is the place to be as the cruise-In, is set to run from 5 p.m. until 7 p.m.
According to Gary Erby, one of the event organizers, trucks, cars, motorcycles, classic cars and more are invited to participate.
“A lot of the hot rod guys had been talking about it [holding an event] and wanted to do it but it never happened. So, I decided to grab the ball and run with it. You do not have to have a show car to come,” Erby said.
Whether you’re a car enthusiast or are just looking for some good clean fun and food will be available for purchase, all are welcome to attend.
“..Just come and enjoy the fancy cars that will probably be there. I’ve got a hot dog cart, called Dogs on the Run and I’ll be set up selling hot dogs and brats on the square. Across from there, Serendipity and the Short Store Eatery have offered to stay open late for people to come in,” Erby said.
