Two brothers in Fulton County are facing felony charges following a home visit by Arkansas Comunity Corrections Agent Steve Simers and Salem Police Officer Clayton Everett.

According to an affidavit for warrant of arrest filed Dec. 6 in Fulton County Circuit Court, on Dec. 2, at the home of Quentin Griggs, 46, of Salem.

Quentin’s brother, Joey Griggs was also at the residence at the time of the visit.

Officers saw the brothers standing near a grill and approached the area where they saw a plastic box and discovered two syringes and two bags containing a white crystalline substance.

A search of the remainder of the property yielded two firearms and a small sum of various pills.

During an interview with Quentin it was stated his brother had gone to the house in order to deliver methamphetamine and Quentin was aware of the firearms in the home.

As a result, both Quentin and Joey were placed under arrest.

Joey Griggs faces charges of possession of a schedule I or II controlled substance, a class C felony and possession of drug parapheranalia, a class D felony.
